Oil & Gas insurance, answered.
What kinds of oil and gas operations do you insure?
Roustabout and lease maintenance, midstream, well servicing and workover, flowback and water transfer, equipment rentals, and operators. We write the field crews and the companies behind them across Oklahoma's patch, and we match the workers' comp class codes to the actual work — water-transfer, flowback, and lease-work crews are not the same risk.
Do you review MSAs before we sign them?
Yes. We read the operator's master service agreement before you sign, check whether the indemnification is drag-down to their limits, and confirm your policy delivers primary-and-non-contributory wording, waivers of subrogation, and the additional-insured forms the operator requires. Reading the MSA first is how we keep a 4:55pm Friday endorsement request from becoming a coverage gap.
Can you add sudden-and-accidental pollution coverage?
Yes. A standard general-liability policy excludes pollution, which is a real exposure on flowback, water transfer, and midstream work. We bolt on contractors' pollution or scheduled pollution coverage so a single spill doesn't end the operation, and we size control-of-well or OEE limits to the deepest well you're working.
Every job in the patch starts with the MSA. The operator's master service agreement spells out who's an additional insured, on what form, with which limits — and whether your indemnification language is drag-down to their limits or stops at yours. We read it before you sign. Then we make sure your policy actually delivers: primary-and-non-contributory wording, waiver of subrogation, ongoing-and-completed ops, and contractual liability that doesn't get carved out by a pollution exclusion. We know the difference between water transfer, flowback, and lease-work crews — and so do the NCCI class codes on your workers' comp. We know when control-of-well or OEE applies and when it doesn't. And we know that 'sudden-and-accidental pollution' is the thin line between a covered spill and a denied claim.
